February 2014 Rains

Since we've been in Oak View, the Ventura River has been dry for most of the time. In fact water flows, but underground for much of its length. However, in February 2014 we scored about 3 days of rain, and the river finally came up and flowed! It lasted a couple of weeks, but it hasn't flowed again since.
